JOAN BUSQUETS Personal Webpage Joan Busquets (born 1946) is an internationally renowned Spanish architect and urban planner. He holds professorships at the Technical University of Catalonia and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He was awarded the 2011 Erasmus Prize, an annual award for a person who has made an exceptional contribution to European culture, society or social science, "in appreciation of his impressive and multifaceted oeuvre in the field of city planning." Busquets’ designs include new urban centres, reconstruction of old and neglected urban areas and the development of infrastructure. His practice had been developed mainly in Europe, like: Barcelona, Toledo, Mallorca, La Coruña, Las Palmas in Spain, also Lisbon, Viseu ,Barreiro and Coimbra in Portugal; Trento, Alghero in Italy; The Hague, Amsterdam, Delft and Helmond in the Netherlands; Dunkerque, Rouen and Paris in France; Geneva in Swiszerland. JEAN-MICHEL LATTES Professor and researcher specializing in labor law at Toulouse Capitole University since 1985, Jean-Michel Lattes is also involved in political and city life in Toulouse by being both deputy mayor of Toulouse and vice-president at Toulouse Metropole in charge of transport and president of Tisséo-SMTC, the local operator of public transport.
